Dear Potential New Members,
Congratulations on your acceptance to Ohio Northern University! We are so excited for you to
embark on the next chapter in your life. Although it will be a testing four years, it will also be four
of the most enriching years of your life. New friends, new experiences and new opportunities
are some of the few wonderful things you will experience here at ONU!
In addition to your academics here at ONU it is important to get involved in the numerous
opportunities, organizations, and social aspects offered. Going Greek is a great way to
accomplish all three of these things and we encourage you to do so. Going Greek provides
multiple opportunities to become a leader, support multiple philanthropies, and most importantly
connect you to a support system that you can always rely on!
My name is Avory Mayenschein and I am honored to be the 2023 Vice President of
Recruitment. Recruitment is what continues that legacy of Zeta Tau Alpha. Each year, we are
excited to add more outstanding, philanthropic, and loving women to join our sisterhood.
Our chapter is continuously striving to uphold our 9 key values : Being rather than seeming,
humility, leadership, lifelong learning, love, loyalty & commitment, responsibility, seeking
understanding we might gain true wisdom, and service & philanthropy. We are actively involved
in many campus organizations and highly committed to supporting our national Philanthropy,
breast cancer education and awareness.
