The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha at ONU are very committed to contributing to their philanthropy and attending service events. ZTA hosts a number of philanthropy functions throughout the year to promote Breast Cancer Education and Awareness in the local community.
Each October, the sisters hosts our annual Pink Month, which is dedicated to the fight against breast cancer through our philanthropy. Throughout the month, sisters decorate the campus in pink ribbons and use chalk messages on the sidewalks to relay breast cancer facts. October is filled with events such as the Pink Football and Basketball Game and our newest philanthropy event, Potatoes with the Zetas.
Each semester, ZTA sisters have been able to obtain at least 5 hours of service per member. We are able to obtain these hours through many different events, including:
- Adopt a Highway
- Clothing drives
- Cooking and serving chili dinners at the ReStore Community Center
- Canned food drives for the Ada Food Pantry
- Volunteering at the Humane Society
- Klondike's Crew
